Producing winning results for owners may be the most important part of running a stable but that couldn’t be done without a smooth running office.
Since Cath Hill joined Chris Waller Racing in 2005 she has taken it upon herself to ensure Chris and his ground staff can do what they do best -prepare winners – while she looks after the day to day running of the stable books.
“Cath has been an enormous asset to the stable since she arrived from England,” said Chris.
“She has worked for a number of leading stables in the UK and has brought that experience over here to us.
“Cath is extremely efficient and takes away all the business pressures from me.”
Chris said that while Cath is primarily based in the office she is also a talented horseperson in her own right.
“She knows the ins and outs of racing and also the administration of racing,” Chris said.
“And in the office she is always willing to help out our owners, be it a major owner with a number of horses or a member of a syndicate.”
