Stable walking machines and swiming pool.
Continual development as a training centre has Rosehill Gardens perfectly-placed as a satellite stable opportunity with a total of 300 boxes now on-course.
Once per week the Course Proper (2,048m by 30m) is opened, with the Inside Grass (1,538m x 27m) available for fast gallops on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Additionally there’s the Sand Track (1,712m x 6m), Cinders Track (1,357 x 7m) and Rosehill’s new Pro-Track (1,436m x 7m), to be used for all-weather purposes.
With its five training circuits, weekly jump-outs and fortnightly barrier trials, Rosehill also presents some of the most comprehensive facilities on any metropolitan circuit.
A 50-metre horse swimming pool is now firmly entrenched into the range of training options, plus eight horse walkers, a farrier facility, thoroughbred weighing scales and a breakfast kiosk.
STC General Manager Racing and Wagering, John Nicholson feels Rosehill has “all the boxes ticked”, when it comes to basing one’s training out of the western Sydney circuit.
